New paper on American black bear coat color

I was a co-author on a newly published paper in Current Biology: "Genetic architecture and evolution of color variation in American black bears". The paper looked at the genomic cause of brown coat coloration in American black bears and mapped the spread of the causative allele across the black bear range.
